Purpose
An internship or summer missions trip with Elevate Camps is designed to utilize each intern’s gifts and talents and help them explore God’s calling on their lives. Interns will have the opportunity to experience student and camp ministry while developing leadership skills. Each intern will gain experience and serve God in a structured and accountable relationship with Elevate Staff.

It is our desire to use the internship program as a ministry that will effectively enable us to evangelize a lost generation, to encourage local pastors and youth pastors and to engage our participants in camp ministry both now and for the rest of their lives.

Interns serve to promote the goals of Elevate Camps.

Finances
Interns are responsible for travel to and from Redding and personal expenses.  Food and housing will be supplied.  Interns have the option to raise support to help cover expenses.

Application & Acceptance
Each potential intern must fill out the Elevate Camps Internship application form and send it to our home office. Your application will be reviewed and references will be read and consulted as deemed necessary. A personal interview will be arranged. You will then either be accepted or denied based upon our evaluation of your information and upon space availability for the time frame for which you are available.

Organization Structure
Each intern will serve under and will be directly responsible to the designated Intern Director who operates under the direction of Elevate Staff.

The Intern Director will identify, assist and supervise the activities and responsibilities of the intern.

Accountability
Each intern will be completely accountable to the Intern Director and Elevate Staff for the duration of their time as an intern.

Each intern must agree to the Elevate Statement of Faith and abide by the Elevate Statement of Conduct. Failure to do so will result in dismissal from the program.

Evaluation
Evaluation of the work of the intern will be done on a consistent basis as the Intern Director spends time with each intern. The results of these evaluations are done to help in the spiritual development of each intern. At the conclusion of the internship, an exit interview will be done by the Elevate Staff. This will enable the Director to assess the overall performance of the intern. This evaluation will be available in written form to appropriate parties requiring such for college credit, future employment or as references.
